The 24-hour lease-line connection with a speed of 200 Mbps is a new addition to our campus; students can access the internet during their scheduled timings.
Our library offers a wide range of reading materials like immense collection of books, more than thousands of reference books, daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines.
The Auditorium is a large hall seating over hundreds of people with a multimedia projector and sound system. Besides watching movies on weekends, the school auditorium provides a platform for students to showcase their talents in various activities.
Students get opportunities to learn music and practice instruments. Students get the opportunity to develop their skills in whatever instruments they prefer to learn.
Clubs like Ecology Club, Magazine Club. Social Service Club, Science Club, Maths Club, Arts Club, Quiz Club, Literary Club etc. have been formed in the school. Student’s active participation in all these fields under the guidance of teachers helps to develop the personalities of the children in all dimensions
G.K. Silver Stone Public School has computer lab with new branded computer systems installed. The labs are well equipped with the latest facilities providing students the experience of cutting-edge technologies with high-speed internet and wi-fi school campus
Our students enjoy being immersed in an educational set up that take cares of to their everyday needs. The classrooms are utilized for the morning preparations, study sessions. Equipped with LED boards, projectors and computer systems with study related content, striking a balance with modern and conventional forms of teachings.
School has a Facebook page and a YouTube channel for the parents to keep in touch with the latest events and activities of their children in the school and the links are available in the Home page along with the link for Campus walk through & 360 degree view of the entire campus.
School has well equipped Science lab and has separate dedicated lab for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. It is made in the most modern way with a capacity of 50 students at a time. It helps the student to understand the theoretical concepts better by implementing them into real life situations. Our lab provides a controlled conditions in which scientific examinations, tests and estimations might be performed.
Children learn many things from the neighbourhood community resources. This includes people places, and things found in the community which can facilitate learning. For this child should have real life experiences. Our programme includes educational visits / excursion tours to all the learning centres in the vicinity like Banks, Fruit Market, Super Market, Power Stations etc.as its learning centres.
Physical Education is imparted to the students by Mass P.T. / Drill, Yoga and providing facilities of outdoor and indoor games to encourage healthy sportsman character, building sound body and healthy competitive spirit among the students. Excellent sports facilities with Volleyball, Net Ball, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, Football and field events are promoted in G. K. Silver Stone Public School.
‘SPORTS DAY’ a reflection of sports activities is organised by the school every year
Cameras are placed all around the campus on various spots to ensure the safety of our students, and also to keep a close watch on them. All the classrooms are provided with large LCD Screens for the entertainment of the students. Students can watch television during the allotted time. Keeping in mind the global pandemic, the school has installed thermal scanning cameras all over the campus to screen the temperature of the students and staff on a daily basis.
Students can avail the school transport, subject to availability of seats, on payment of necessary fees. The school shall not entertain any change in the route to suit individual convenience. It may be discontinued in case of in-disciplinary behaviour in the bus/van.
The remedial classes are available for students. The primary purpose for the introduction of this facility is to provide aid to all our weak students and help them excel in academics.
Any parent can access his/her child’s report card, disciplinary report, fee schedule, etc. on the school app. Every parent is given a separate account for his/her child.
A complete medical check-up of students is done by the visiting doctors authorised by the school. Parents are informed of the health of the child in case any special attention is needed.
